नमस्ते, Hello

Welcome to the official page for Peace Registry

नई शांति प्रक्रिया के आधिकारिक पेज पर आपका स्वागत है।

What is affecting Central India?

With its sprawling forests and rich history, Central India is the cradle of culture and tradition that the Adivasis have tended to and protected for generations.

In the 1980s began a long struggle between the newly arrived Maoists and the security forces. The conflict escalated and the people became victims to large scale devastation and violence while experiencing the tragic loss of family members and homes to displacement and abuse. The victims are on all sides and the list grows every day. An eye for an eye is not the solution. Maoists are not the enemy, violence is.

The New Peace Process is an effort to initiate conversations, document stories of victims and devise new peace-building methods to celebrate and restore peace in Central India.
Here, you will find information on the history of the people and the conflict, their stories, the peace effort, events, notable accomplishments and most importantly, what you can do to help.

The first step to resolution is to listen and by being here, you have already taken that one step.
